"A Beautiful Family"πŸ§‘β€πŸ§‘β€πŸ§’β€πŸ§’

Today, we turn our attention to one godly woman. She is ordinary, everyday, and common, but she stands out for her selfless service and the extraordinary way she ministers to others.

Her service is behind the scenes. If she does it right, it will be invisible, forgotten, a vanishing ministry. Yet through her faithfulness, she creates a platform for godly success. She bears up others so they may receive the praise, and she binds the broken so they can run the race and receive the reward.

And in her life we discover how we can have a rare fellowship, a precious church, and a beautiful family of God. As we look at Nympha and her example, we will study the command of hospitality, the conviction of hospitality, and the center of hospitality.

Read & RememberπŸ“š

"Certainly the ministry of hospitality can easily rattle our grumbling bones. Hospitality demands old-fashioned hard work. It may be costly and it is often inconvenient. It is time-consuming. It places a strain on the family. At heart we are selfish, and selfishness is the greatest enemy of hospitality."

Grace Pulpit August 31st @Notes: Missions, Part III– Now, missions can evoke a variety of responses. Some think: I could never do that! Others imagine: Maybe I could go? Still more: I will go! Even some ask: How can I help? Perhaps, if you know a little more about missions, you may start thinking of faithful missionaries throughout history: Adoniram Judson, Hudson Taylor, Amy Carmichael, Mary Slessor, many more. These are all natural and understandable responses, but they all reveal one...

Grace Pulpit August 24th @Pastor Notes: Missions, Part II– Today, we will talk about the foundation of everything in Missions. Mission exists for Worship! Now, that might not sound altogether surprising. For, everything exists for worship God’s glory (1 Cor 10:31; Col 3:17). But, over the years, many missions programs have drifted away from this simple premise. For, many act like disoriented tour guidesβ€”they have gotten themselves lost trying to save the lost. Simply, ask: How do you measure...
