"Parenting in Troubled Times, Part:2"🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Last week, we saw that the world has declared war on our children… and that the family is on the front lines to protect their souls.

And today, we see that it begins in marriage. The number one way you can prepare your kids to face the world is to face one another as husband and wife. That’s the bedrock of the future for your children… that's the North Star for their lives.

A godly marriage is a gospel opportunity. It gives your children a front row seat to see mom and dad witnessing the gospel of Jesus Christ through their actions day after day after day.

They see two sinners forgive and reconcile, sacrifice and love, trust and obey. And as we come to Colossians 3, we see that a true biblical marriage demands two actions that no one wants to hear… submission and sacrifice.

And that’s the gospel of Jesus Christ. These are the two actions that present the gospel, the hope of Jesus, to your children and prepare them to face the world with a love of Christ.
