@Pastor Notes: Missions, Part I– We are glad to announce our church’s further commitment to heed Jesus’s command to be His witnesses “both in Jerusalem, and all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth (Acts 1:8).” This work is often called Missions. The local and global proclamation of the gospel to establish lifelong believers in doctrinally sound and biblically aligned churches. At Grace Chapel, missions is incredibly important for us, but it's been a long journey.

@ Worship Music App: Doctrinally sound music is critical for worship. A well prepared choir and congregation is critical for worship. We have developed an app to prepare you for Worship each Sunday. Here you can find all the worship songs planned for the entire year, along with relevant Scriptures. No commercials, no hassle. You can use this for personal and family devotion. Better yet, we will all be that much better equipped to sing together! This is still in beta, but we want to release now, improvements will come in the future.

@ Shepherd's Training Institute: The Institute is a two-year training program for men that teaches eight courses in four key areas: Bible Knowledge, Ministry, Godly Character, and Theology. @Sermon: The Rest of the Story, Part I- "Now, when you hear the word evangelism or missions, there's often a variety of responses. Some immediately think, you know, that's just not for me. I could never do that. Others think, maybe I I could go. Still a few think, I will go. I must go. When we hear evangelism and missions, we have all sorts of different responses.
If you know a little bit more about evangelism and missions, you might start to think about famous missionaries and evangelists: Adoniram Judson, Hudson Taylor, Amy Carmichael, Mary Slessor, or Billy Graham.
Finally, everyone thinks about the lost—your next door neighbors and those very far away. Often, we have a picture in our mind of someone who's poor and destitute, remote and tribal. Perhaps, the Bible is not even written in their language.
These are normal and understandable responses, but they reveal one common theme. Often, most often, when we think about evangelism and missions, we think primarily about ourselves and others. Rarely, is our first thought God. Seldom do we ask the question: What does God want?..."
